Mission Statement

Since 2009, Yad Tamar has been actively creating deep social and community change, empowering families of cancer patients and those facing medical crises by strengthening the support networks surrounding them. Rooted in a dedicated volunteer team, Yad Tamar is committed to social and community responsibility, as echoed in the Book of Zechariah (7:9): "Show mercy and compassion to one another." Within this framework, we forge a new language among diverse individuals and communities across the nation, providing comprehensive and systematic support in an efficient, structured, and approachable manner for both supporters and the supported. In our pursuit of personal and community growth, we invest every resource and strive to make every individual facing illness a vital and strong part of our community.
