Delivery Activities

Losing track of time and even missing out on joyous events throughout the year are some of the impacts of the heavy burden on a family dealing with cancer. At Yad Tamar, we make an effort before each holiday to reconnect the family to the calendar, to a reality beyond the illness and crisis, and to maintain the sweet flavor of the holiday. This includes sending gift packages on Purim, deliveries of sweets on Hanukkah, and dried fruit platters on Tu B'Shvat, among others.

The distribution of the packages is based on volunteer availability. The areas of distribution vary according to the existing volunteers, and we are trying to expand our reach across the country as much as possible.
